Panshanger Football Club Codes of Conduct for Coaches1. Coaches must ensure that the health, safety and well being of ALL children is their priority.2. Coaches must adhere to all guidelines laid down by the governing bodies. 3. Coaches must ensure all children are treated equally, with respect for their rights and dignity. 4. Coaches must ensure that all activities are suitable for the relevant age groups. 5. Coaches must ensure that players adhere to the Players Code of Conduct at all times. 6. Coaches must ensure that players accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance. 7. Coaches must always display a high standard of behaviour and appearance. Remember, you are a role model and an ambassador for the club. 8. Coaches must ensure that everyone involved with their team, is aware that inappropriate language, physical and verbal abuse will not be tolerated. 9. Coaches must promote all aspects of Fair Play. 10. Coaches must ensure that the children enjoy and learn their sporting skills in a relaxed friendly environment. 11. Coaches should ensure that they continue to learn and try to attend relevant courses to improve their own coaching skills. 12. Coaches must treat club premises and property and that of opposition clubs with respect. 13. Coaches must ensure the safety and suitability of the equipment they use. 14. Coaches must not collect monies, other than annual subscription, from players or parents without the prior written consent of the Management Committee. The club management committee will sanction Coaches who ignore this code of conduct. Sanctions will be: The management committee has the right to move directly to the second or third stage if the committee judges that an incident is so serious that this action is necessary. Anyone sanctioned under this code has the right to appeal to Herts. F.A. within fourteen days of the sanction. This code of practice is not designed to restrict anyone's freedom but to set the standards of behaviour that are expected to ensure that everyone enjoys the football. |
